Ingredients
  

  • 4 large eggs
  • cooking spray

  • salt
  • pepper
  • fresh chives, chopped

Method
 

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 250ºF for hard-boiled eggs.
  2. Place eggs in the air fryer and cook for 12-17 minutes, turning halfway through.
  3. Plunge cooked eggs into an ice bath immediately until fully cooled, about 10 minutes.
  4. For scrambled eggs, add an ovenproof ramekin to the air fryer and preheat to 400ºF.
  5. Spray a 4 oz ramekin with cooking spray and crack in 1-2 eggs.
  6. Whisk the eggs to combine, then cook at 350ºF for 5 minutes.
  7. Stir the eggs in the ramekin every minute until the desired consistency is reached.

Notes

- For hard-boiled air fryer eggs, always transfer them directly to an ice bath after cooking. This stops the cooking process and prevents the dreaded green ring around the yolk.
- When making scrambled air fryer eggs, stir frequently to ensure even cooking and a tender texture. If your air fryer is prone to hot spots, reducing the temperature slightly can prevent overcooking.
