Ingredients
Method
- Start in a COLD air fryer. Do not pre-heat. If your air fryer is warm, let it cool completely. Starting with a cold fryer prevents the outside from cooking too fast while the center stays raw.
- Prepare the cookie dough according to the package instructions. Pour the batter into the included paper pan.
- Place the pan with the cookie batter into the air fryer basket or on the rack.
- Air Fry at 300°F (149°C) for 22 minutes. Perform the toothpick test: insert a toothpick into the center. If it comes out "almost" clean (a few moist crumbs are okay), turn off the air fryer and let the cookie rest inside for 5-10 minutes to finish cooking gently with residual heat.
- If the toothpick comes out wet, air fry for an additional 1-3 minutes, then repeat step 4 (rest in residual heat).
- Allow the cookie to cool slightly in the pan before enjoying. Serve warm for the best gooey texture!
Notes
- Always start with a cold air fryer for even cooking.
- Adjust cook time by 1-3 minutes based on your specific air fryer model.
- Ensure the cookie is cooked through but still moist for that perfect gooey center. Nutrition information is an estimate, calculated automatically. Values vary with brands, substitutions and portion sizes.
