Ingredients
Method
- Slice zucchini lengthwise into 1-inch thick wedges. Lightly spray with oil and season generously with garlic powder, salt, and black pepper on all sides.
- Wrap each zucchini wedge with a half-slice of bacon. Secure with a toothpick if needed. You can add extra black pepper on top now if you like.
- Arrange the bacon-wrapped zucchini in a single layer in your air fryer basket. Do not overcrowd.
- Air fry at 380°F (190°C) for 10-16 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the bacon is crispy and the zucchini is tender.
- Carefully remove the zucchini fries from the air fryer. Let them cool for a few minutes before serving – they will be very hot!
- Remember to remove the toothpicks before eating!
Notes
- Ensure your bacon is cut to a uniform thickness for even cooking.
- Don't overcrowd the air fryer basket; cook in batches if necessary for maximum crispiness.
- Adjust cooking time based on your air fryer model and desired bacon crispiness.
