Ingredients

  • 30 Wonton Wrappers
  • 7.5 oz Jalapeño Cream Cheese
  • 6 oz Imitation Crab Meat (chopped)
  • 2 tsp Soy Sauce
  • 2 tsp fresh lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • Duck Sauce

Method

  1. Soften the jalapeño cream cheese by leaving it at room temperature for about 30 minutes.
  2. In a clean bowl, stir together the softened cream cheese, soy sauce, and fresh lemon juice until well combined.
  3. Fold in the chopped imitation crab meat until the filling is thoroughly blended.
  4. Fill each wonton wrapper with about 1 tablespoon of the crab mixture. Fold the wrappers into desired shapes (triangles or purses), ensuring edges are sealed.
  5. Arrange the filled wontons in a single layer in your air fryer basket (cook in batches if necessary, about 8 per batch).
  6. Lightly brush the tops of the wontons with vegetable oil. Cook at 375°F (190°C) for 7-8 minutes, or until puffed and golden brown. No flipping needed!
  7. Serve immediately with duck sauce for dipping and enjoy the crispy perfection!

Notes

- Ensure cream cheese is fully softened for a smooth, lump-free filling.
- Don't overfill the wonton wrappers; 1 tablespoon is usually sufficient.
- Cook in a single layer in the air fryer for maximum crispiness.
- For extra crispiness, you can lightly spray the cooked side before flipping (if your model requires it).
