Ingredients
Method
- Preheat your air fryer to 380°F (195°C) for 4 minutes.
- Cut fish fillets into even halves if needed for uniform cooking. Moisten each fillet with your chosen liquid (ice water, egg, milk, or mayo) and coat generously with the seasoned mix.
- Lightly spray the air fryer basket with oil or use a perforated parchment liner coated with oil.
- Arrange the coated fish in a single layer, ensuring pieces don't touch. Lightly spray the tops of the fish with oil.
- Air fry at 380°F (195°C) for 8-14 minutes. Flip the fish halfway through (around 6 minutes). Lightly spray any dry spots and continue cooking until golden brown, crispy, and the fish flakes easily.
- Serve immediately with your favorite dip like tartar sauce, mustard, or aioli!
Notes
- For best results, ensure fish pieces are similar in size for even cooking.
- Don't overcrowd the air fryer basket; cook in batches if necessary to maintain crispiness.
- Internal temperature for white fish should reach 145°F (63°C). Nutrition information is an estimate, calculated automatically. Values vary with brands, substitutions and portion sizes.
