Ingredients
Method
- Cut the French bread loaf to fit your air fryer basket. Slice each piece in half lengthwise.
- Lightly spray the cut sides of the bread with cooking oil for a crispier crust. Place bread cut-side down in the air fryer basket. Air fry at 360°F (182°C) for 2 minutes.
- Flip the bread pieces. Spread pizza sauce evenly over the crust, leaving a small border. Add your shredded cheese and desired toppings. If needed, place a small air fryer rack over the toppings to prevent them from flying around.
- Air fry again at 360°F (182°C) for 2-4 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly and the crust is golden and crispy. Check after 2 minutes.
- Carefully remove the pizzas from the air fryer. Let them cool for about 2 minutes before serving warm.
Notes
- Use a smaller air fryer rack or a piece of foil to weigh down toppings if they tend to fly off.
- For an extra crispy crust, don't skip the initial spray of oil and the first 2-minute air fry before adding toppings.
- Experiment with different sauces like pesto or alfredo, and a variety of cheeses beyond mozzarella. Nutrition information is an estimate, calculated automatically. Values vary with brands, substitutions and portion sizes.
