Ingredients

  • 2 lb Frozen chicken wings ((flats and drumettes))
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil
  • 2 tsp Baking powder
  • 3/4 tsp Sea salt
  • 1/4 tsp Black pepper
  • Wing sauce of your choice ((optional))

Method

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (204°C).
  2. Arrange the frozen chicken wings in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Cook in batches if needed.
  3. Air fry for 8 minutes to thaw and warm the wings.
  4. Transfer wings to a large bowl, pat them very dry with paper towels, and drain any liquid from the air fryer basket.
  5. Add olive oil, baking powder, sea salt, and black pepper to the bowl. Toss to coat the wings evenly.
  6. Place the seasoned wings back in the air fryer basket, ensuring they are in a single layer.
  7. Increase temperature to 430°F (221°C) (or max temp if lower). Air fry for 6 minutes, flip, and cook for another 4-6 minutes until crispy and golden brown.
  8. Serve immediately, plain or tossed with your favorite wing sauce. Enjoy!

Notes

- For extra crispiness, ensure wings are patted thoroughly dry after the initial thaw.
- Do not overcrowd the air fryer basket; cook in batches if necessary to allow for proper air circulation.
- Adjust cooking time based on your air fryer model and desired crispness.
