Method
- Cook the ground beef with the taco seasoning according to package directions until browned. Drain excess fat and set aside.
- In a small bowl, mix together the refried beans with 1/4 cup of the taco sauce and the 1/2 teaspoon of salt until well blended.
- Spread 1 tablespoon of the refried bean mixture evenly on each of two tostada shells.
- Top one shell with 3-4 tablespoons of the cooked taco meat and a generous sprinkle of shredded cheese.
- Carefully place the second tostada shell on top to create a sandwich. Spread a tablespoon of taco sauce over the top shell.
- Top the pizza with another two tablespoons of shredded cheese and a sprinkle of diced tomatoes. Place in the air fryer basket.
- Air fry at 375°F (190°C) for 3-5 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly and the shells are crispy.
