Ingredients
  

  • 12 ounces tilapia filets
  • Cooking oil spray
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon lemon pepper seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt, to taste
  • Fresh cracked black pepper, to taste
  • Fresh chopped parsley for garnish
  • Lemon wedges for serving

Method
 

  1. Pre-heat Air Fryer to 360°F/182°C for 5 minutes.
  2. Rinse and thoroughly pat dry the tilapia filets. Spray or brush with oil and add your favorite seasonings to both sides.
  3. To prevent sticking, lay perforated parchment or a silicone mat inside the air fryer base. Lightly spray the liner with oil.
  4. Carefully lay the seasoned tilapia on top of the liner. Place a few lemon wedges next to the fish.
  5. Air Fry at 360°F/182°C for about 6-12 minutes, or until the tilapia is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
  6. (Optional) Sprinkle with fresh chopped parsley and serve warm with the toasted lemon wedges.

Notes

- Don't overcrowd your air fryer basket; cook in batches if necessary to ensure even cooking and crispiness. Overcrowding can steam the fish instead of frying it.
- For perfectly cooked fish, aim for an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C) when measured at the thickest part. The fish should flake easily with a fork.
- If you don't have lemon pepper seasoning, a mix of dried lemon zest and black pepper can be a good substitute, though the flavor profile may be slightly different.
