Ingredients
Method
- Thaw shrimp completely according to package directions. Ensure they are peeled, deveined, and raw. Do NOT attempt to air fry from frozen.
- Lightly coat the air fryer basket with vegetable oil. Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- Thoroughly dry the thawed shrimp with paper towels to ensure crispiness. Sprinkle both sides evenly with 1 tsp of Old Bay seasoning.
- Arrange the seasoned shrimp in a single layer in the preheated air fryer basket. You may need to cook in two batches to avoid overcrowding.
- Air fry for 3-4 minutes. Flip the shrimp using tongs and cook for an additional 3 minutes, or until pink and opaque.
- While shrimp cooks, melt the butter. Whisk in the chopped parsley, minced garlic, lemon juice, and the remaining 1/4 tsp Old Bay seasoning. Drizzle this flavorful mixture over the cooked shrimp just before serving.
Notes
- Ensure shrimp are completely thawed and thoroughly dried for maximum crispiness.
- Avoid overcrowding the air fryer basket; cook in batches if necessary.
