Ingredients

  • 2-3 pounds boneless, fully cooked ham
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup orange juice
  • 2 tablespoons mustard
  • 1/4 teaspoon Cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon Clove
  • black pepper (, to taste)

Method

  1. Remove ham from fridge 2 hours before cooking to reach room temperature.
  2. Make the glaze: Combine brown sugar, honey, orange juice, mustard, cinnamon, clove, and black pepper in a small saucepan. Heat and whisk until brown sugar dissolves. Set aside.
  3. Remove any netting from the ham. Score the ham with shallow 1/2-inch criss-cross cuts if not pre-sliced.
  4. For basket air fryers: Line basket with foil. Place ham on foil, brush with glaze, and wrap ham tightly with foil.
  5. For oven-style air fryers: Place ham in an 8"x8" baking pan that fits your air fryer. Brush with glaze and wrap tightly with foil.
  6. Air fry at 340°F (170°C) for 25 minutes. Open foil, brush ham with more glaze, close foil tightly, and air fry for another 25 minutes.
  7. Open foil again. For basket style, create a foil boat to hold juices. For oven style, remove foil.
  8. Brush with remaining glaze and increase heat to 360°F (180°C) for 5 minutes, or until caramelized.

Notes

- Ensure your ham is fully cooked before starting.
- For a deeper glaze flavor, let the glaze simmer for a few minutes.
- Adjust the final caramelization time to your preference, but watch closely to prevent burning.
