Method
- TO AIR FRY: Toast bagel halves cut side up in air fryer at 370°F for 2 minutes. Remove.
- Top each bagel half with marinara, vegan pepperoni, bell peppers & onions, and vegan cheese. Return to air fryer.
- Air fry at 370°F for 4-5 minutes, until cheese is melty. Check at 4 minutes.
- TO BAKE: Preheat oven to 425°F. Bake sliced bagels cut side up for 5 minutes. Remove and turn oven to broil.
- Top each bagel half with marinara, vegan pepperoni, bell peppers & onions, and vegan cheese. Return to oven.
- Broil until cheese has melted, roughly 2-4 minutes. Watch carefully to prevent burning.
- Carefully remove bagel halves from air fryer or oven. Let cool for a couple of minutes before eating.
- Optionally, top with a pinch of chopped fresh basil or chives, and a sprinkling of vegan parmesan cheese.
Notes
- For an extra crispy bagel, toast the halves an additional minute before adding toppings.
