Ingredients

  • About 2-4 frozen pre-cooked breaded chicken breasts
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1/4 cup oil
  • 1 tablespoon ground cayenne pepper
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  • Make the Sauce: Combine butter, oil, cayenne pepper, brown sugar, garlic powder, paprika, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and black pepper in a bowl or saucepan.
  • Microwave or heat until butter is just melted. Whisk thoroughly until smooth. Let the sauce cool slightly to prevent separation.
  • Place the frozen breaded chicken breasts in the air fryer basket in a single layer, ensuring no overlap. No oil spray is needed.
  • Air Fry at 380°F (193°C) for 10 minutes.
  • Flip the chicken over and continue to Air Fry at 380°F (193°C) for another 2-5 minutes, or until heated through and crispy.
  • Place chicken on white bread, brush both sides with the sauce, top with pickles, and serve warm. Enjoy!

Notes

- For extra heat, increase cayenne pepper to 2 Tablespoons.
- Whisk the sauce frequently while brushing to keep spices and oil emulsified.
- Serve on soft white bread with dill pickle chips for an authentic experience.
