Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground meat (beef, chicken, pork, lamb, or turkey)
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs (for keto use crushed pork rinds or almond flour)
  • 1 large egg
  • 2-3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 teaspoons chopped fresh dill
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon fresh cracked black pepper
  • 1/2 cup crumbled feta cheese

Method

  1. Make the tzatziki dip: Combine yogurt, olive oil, cucumber, mint, dill, lemon zest (optional), lemon juice (optional), garlic powder, salt and pepper in a bowl.
  2. Stir dip ingredients well. Cover and chill in the fridge until ready to serve.
  3. Make the meatballs: In a bowl, combine ground meat, breadcrumbs, egg, garlic, Worcestershire sauce, dill, oregano, salt, and pepper. Stir to combine.
  4. Gently fold in the crumbled feta cheese until just combined.
  5. Form meatballs: Lightly oil hands and form 1.5-inch meatballs. Lightly coat meatballs with olive oil or oil spray.
  6. Preheat air fryer at 380°F/193°C for 5 minutes.
  7. Air Fry: Spray air fryer basket with oil. Place meatballs in a single layer, leaving space between them.
  8. Air Fry at 380°F/193°C for 8 minutes. Turn meatballs and spray with oil if needed.

Notes

- Use a mix of ground meats for richer flavor (e.g., beef and lamb).
- Don't overmix the meatball mixture; gently fold ingredients to keep them tender.
- For keto, use almond flour or crushed pork rinds instead of breadcrumbs.
