Cole Bendrick organizes the recipe files on AirFryerWise: ingredient proportions, conversion metrics, and the times and temperatures the manufacturers publish for their own machines.
Air fryer times are the worst-kept lie in recipe writing. A small basket with a weak fan does not cook like a big convection-style model, and most recipes online pretend they do. So the figures here are given per machine class, with the manufacturer’s own guidance named, instead of one number passed off as universal.
How a recipe is documented
Times and temperatures come from the appliance documentation and from established cooking references, and the page says which. Where a method needs a flip or a basket shake to brown evenly, the step states exactly when. Where crowding the basket turns crisping into steaming, the page warns before it happens rather than after. Where the sources disagree by machine, both figures are given.
Where the numbers come from
For anything with meat, poultry, fish or eggs the page gives the safe internal temperature rather than a vague “until done”: poultry 165°F, ground meat 160°F, whole cuts 145°F with a rest. These come from published food-safety guidance, not from a stopwatch in someone’s kitchen. If a figure here contradicts its source and you catch it, write in and it is fixed in place.
What AirFryerWise is not
Cole Bendrick does not taste the output of these recipe files, does not own or operate the air fryer models named, and claims no culinary training or chef certification. Nothing here is a first-hand cooking test, and none of these recipe concepts is presented as an original invention.
This is also a cooking reference, not dietary or medical advice. The pages can set out how a dish is cooked; they cannot tell you what fits your diet. There are no sponsored posts dressed up as recipes, and any affiliate link is marked.
